Program Growth Keeps Stepping Up!
The new ₱3,410 will be part of the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens (SPISC) program, which already climbed from ₱500 to ₱1,000 last year after Republic Act No. 11916. The Department of Budget and Management, or DBM, is putting even more money into the 2025 budget so the funding can support readjustments for more than 4 million elders going nation-wide. This means help is going where it’s needed, and it is guaranteed, dbm.gov.

Same Requirements to Get the Cash!
Even with the payment going up a lot, the rules to be eligible will not change. Senior citizens who are 60 and older, with no regular support or pension, still need to meet the same checks that were already in place for the current program. This keeps it fair and helps money reach elders who need it most.
Membership for the new program asking for extra monthly help is open to Filipino seniors who:
Are 60 or older!
Have weak health, are sick, or are living with very little money
Do not get monthly pensions from SSS, GSIS, or PVAO
Have no steady money coming from jobs, other pensions, or help from family
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is in charge of the program. The first payments of ₱3,410 will start in August 2025. Seniors who already receive help will automatically get the higher amount and do not need to apply again. New seniors can sign up at local DSWD offices or municipal social welfare offices.
In 2025 the government will spend more than ₱3 billion for the Expanded Centenarians Act. Under this act, Filipino who become 100 will get a cash gift of ₱100,000. Seniors who reach 80, 85, 90, or 95 will also receive an extra ₱10,000.

Sa mga lolo’t lola na may mababang kita, ang halaga ay magiging sapat sa uutang na mga panggastos para sa pagkain, gamot, at mga batayan, at makababawas ito sa obligasyon ng mga anak o apo na mayroon ding hinanakit na sariling pinansyal na pasakit.
Papaglango ng Agosto 2025 ang bayani ng mga lolo’t lola ng mga kailangang ipinatupad. Kaya, ang mga katandaan at kanilang mga asistant na pamilya ay nakikiusap na matiyak ang pagkakapagkalan na sila ay nakasasaluhin ang benepisyong ito. Magtungo sa lokal na DSWD at ayusin ang mga papeles para ang pagpatong ng mga perang tulong ay tuloy-tuloy.
